Cramps in Hemodialysis

Cramp is a common problem in dialysis patients.
REASONS;

The patient’s excessive intake of fluid and hypotension attacks due to this,

Going below its dry weight while gaining weight,
-
The patient eating food during dialysis,
-
It is the hypotension that develops because the patient accidentally takes antihypertensive drugs on the day of dialysis.
FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRAMPES;

It should not take much fluid between two dialysis.

Not eating too much during dialysis
-
There is a maximum amount of fluid that can be drawn from each person in one session. Cramps occur when fluid is drawn on this detection.

Extending dialysis time
-
Antihypertensive (blood pressure) drugs should not be taken on the day of dialysis.
